L-surF is able to commit staff from the 5 founding partners and companies experienced in collaboration both with external partners and each other. The 5 partners are European organisations, specialised in safety & security of underground and enclosed infrastructures.This unique partnership provides:
• Independent international expertise with significant experience of innovative projects for the construction of tunnels, terminals and other underground constructions and installations
• Multidisciplinary expertise in the field of safety & security
• European (virtual) research infrastructure for underground safety and security.
The Grouping is well connected to ITA (International Tunnelling and Underground Space Association and ITA-COSUF (Committee on Operational Safety of Underground Facilities), as well as several important European Technology Platforms (e.g., ECTP, ETPIS...).
